Applied Research and Industry Collaboration Workshop

 
About this workshop
 
Industries need to innovate and change to produce different, better and more competitive products, processes and service. This workshop will outline a program from the Basque Country to build industry innovation by fostering collaboration between the Basque equivalent of TAFE institutes and SMEs to work on applied innovation projects in strategic industries.

The workshop will cover:
  • Approaches to support strategic industries, which are identified as those that build regional employability and competitiveness.
  • How to establish specialist strategic environments in which VET centres and SMEs can collaborate.
  • Advancing the creation of value as a basic process in the area of competitiveness through innovation.
  • Developing innovation projects in emerging areas of specialization and industries.Generating and transferring knowledge and achieving the development of new opportunities.
