Person Responsible for Electrical Safety (PRES) Training
The Person Responsible for Electical Safety (PRES) has the competency of a Supervised Worker and ensures the work group complies with Rule 2017 Working Around Electical Infrastructure for the activity being undertaken, and keeps workers safe in the electrified area.
1 day classroom-based training comprising of theory and practical assessment.
Prerequisites
Minimum three months between undertaking the SW and PRES training (ie. requires three months experience as an SW)
Current Supervised Worker (SW) track access accreditation
Current Category 1 Medical
TLIF0008 Apply safety critical communication in the rail environment certificate issued by the PTA.
Cost
$230 per person (price exclusive of GST).
An invoice will be sent on the first business day of the month following training
