BFVG is a not for profit grower cooperative representing the Horticulture businesses across the Bundaberg and Wide Bay Burnett region. The organisation is governed by Board Directors each of whom bring a unique combination of skills, experience and industry knowledge. A mix of grower and independent Directors provide diverse representation for the Industry.
BFVG undertakes a number of innovative projects for industry benefit. Having recently completed extension activities in Variable Rate Technology, Market Access, Carbon Farming Solutions and Workforce Development. The organisation also engages in a number of community and promotional activities and is currently funded to deliver the VegNet and QAWN projects.
The Managing Director and Board strongly represent the Industry and its Supply Chain through a number of committees and direct engagement with Government, Industry Stakeholders and Dignitaries.
The BFVG office has grown to become a central contact point for the Wide Bay Burnett Horticulture Industry. Becoming a member offers many benefits to growers and support businesses affiliated with the Industry.
Annual membership fees enable BFVG to continue our core purpose of advocating for the Horticulture Industry.
